I quickly scrolled through your games played.

If you are interested in being in a clan then I suggest you start playing many more team games. Standard games don't do any good for clans and it seems to be mostly all you have played. Try finding regular players to play with and learn to work as a team to beat your opponents and then I am sure you will get more interest. Good luck.

Why don't you be proactive; take initiative. Why should clans recruit you? Do you want other people to do all the work? You want suitors and gentleman callers? Clan Becky, for one, prefers its members to be of the "git 'er dun" type. We will only recruit members that will aggressively take part in our clan and matchups. You have not proven that you are this type of player.

This is constructive criticism. I'm sure you're a great player, but you can't expect others to assume that. Prove it.

Thank you for being the first to reply.

I was about to be the first myself and just write.. "or Not". :)

I do like Doubles and have played some Triples. The problem I have found is that if you join random Open/Public games you oftne get players who don't understand the "Team" concept and/or are just Deadbeats.

I will make an effort though. Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the reply. I kinda do like the idea of being recruited. As a heterosexual man I don't like the term "gentleman callers"... but I do think it is appropriate. (Aside from the sex part... can we say "Lady Callers" instead?)

I do appreciate the feedback. I read a few posts of people listing their "value" and "selling themselves" while seeking Clan membership. I kinda thought it would be fun and funny to just say "recruit me" instead. Though I will cheerfully answer any questions posed.

Thanks!

OK. So then recruit me. Why would I want to join your clan?

Are you in this clan? Your logo /signature has a different name... no?

Aside from the cool reference to a Monty Python movie... what else do the Knights have to offer?

I'm not sure what they have to offer, I do know they have very flexible joining criteria.

I would like to be recruited by actual members of that clan... not by a non-affiliated person. :)

Kinda voids the point.

Are you a member of the Hells Messenger Academy or its' leader?

How do I find out more about a specific clan?

The best way to find out about a clan is to go into the recruiting section and read about them. Each clan that is recruiting should have a post there. I have supplied a direct link to the recruitment thread section.

What does this clan offer me?

You're 2nd in charge... but my rank is higher; so why would I think you can train me?

Maybe because he has a 24% win rate and you only have a 17% win rate?

Someone else may be doing the training. Anyways, you should take what you can get. Most clans won't even look at you so I would take them up on their offer if you want to join a clan so bad.

I don't buy into that theory. If there's no value in it for me... doesn't matter if I have other offers of not.

(BTW I'm not saying there's no value... I am asking the question.)

Win % is not a good measure.

If I play mostly 6-8 player games it is reasonable to assume my win % is going to be lower than a player who plays mostly 2-3 player games. Simple math.

Points/Rank is a better measure... but that has limitations as well.

I was joking. And rank is not the best measure either.

If you join that clan, there will be a few benefits.

1. You will find a regular dubs partner that you can join games with.

2. You will get some experience being in a clan which will also help you.

3. In all likelihood you will get better at team games-and your rank will go up.
