Rules (shamelessly stolen from various sources)

• All votes must be in bold. Vote: autoload.
• If possible Unvote before casting a new vote.
• Lynches will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, his pleas are useless and any attempts to unvote will be unheeded. You may Vote: No Lynch – majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without a lynch. If a deadline is placed, a majority of votes cast will suffice.
• Once a player or no lynch hits a majority, it is Twilight. Please feel free to post during twilight. Once I have posted the death scene you are dead, you may no longer post except for maybe a “Bah!” post.
• At this point, if your role allows it, you may talk to people via PM. I will declare the deadline for night-choice submissions when I post the death scene. If you do not declare your night-choice prior to deadline, no night choice is made.
• Do not edit/delete any previous submitted posts.
• Do not quote any PMs from me, people you can talk to at night or anything from outside the game. The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so.
• Please try to post at least once per day. If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Treat this game as a commitment and be considerate.
• I am your mod. Anything I say goes. PM me if you have any questions.

Introduction:

The Mafia has infiltrated this part of town. It’s time to get rid of them before they get rid of the town. During “day”, all the players will convene to determine who should be lynched at the gallows. Then during “night”, they all disperse and night choices are sent to me.

This is what the Townie Role PM looks like:
Townie: You are an ordinary Townie. Your only power is that of the vote, so use it. You are not allowed to communicate with any of the other players outside the thread.

Win Condition: You win when all remaining players are pro town.

DAYBREAK

The residents of this upscale suburb had it easy since it's development 10 years ago. Recently, some suspicious behavior had been noted in the daily police reports. The Cops, fat on doughnuts, have basically dismissed the reports. Complacency seems to be the norm when one is well to do. However, this particular morning a loud shriek wakes the neighborhood.

A body was found completely mutilated in a garbage can outside of the Machiavelli residence.

Machiavelli (unknown role) has been killed!

This begins the Day Phase. With 18 alive it takes 10 to lynch!

i am not an experienced mafia player. is there any power role that shows up as blank when the person is killed? i know that for people like the godfather when investegated he shows up clean but is there anything like this?

First thing's first

The 3 players I already trust in this game are Wisse, vgmmaster and Machiavelli, who are not mafia. Mach is easy to see now that he's dead.

Here's where I know this to be true.

Those 3 players were the ones without X's next to their names, and they still dont have X's there. And they are Mach, vgmmaster and Wisse. Auto said he was gonna go ahead put the game in Night One. He would only do that if he received all confirming PMs from the Mafia, which mean those 3 are not.

So at this moment I trust whatever Wisse and vgmmaster say.

I've never heard of starting a game w/o all confirmations in before, but I know they do that over at mafiascum. Anyone familiar with this?

what master bush said makes a lot of sense. but what if wisse and vgmaster know nothing more then we do? then what i am just as lost as the rest of you? i do play at mafiascum but have never encountered this before.

It only takes one mafia to send in a night kill choice, which they obviously did. Maybe Auto is planning to replace those players if they dont' confirm?

Mod note: All was confirmed before Day Phase, I just neglected to put the "x" by the name in a timely manner. Lots going on at once here.
