This is just a sketch, I'll enhance it later.

50 countries, 5 contients, and maybe later I'll add a blimp or something. Please tell me what you think.

First thing, make any future images jpegs, bitmaps take way too long to load. This map lacks appeal for me.

I wasnt even able to load it try using imageshack, you dont need to regester and it gives you a direct link that you can put in[img]tags[/img]

in theory that colors work because that is the level they are on, but if you have to hold a color to get a bonus, you would virtually have every boarder able to be attacked. That aspect of it needs to be changed.

This map is very rough obviously, but with a lot of work, i think it will work out ok. i really like the idea.

too linear - real nfl field maps don't show sections as being so blocky, nor are stadiums rectangles. Why not start with an existing map as your template, but tweak it to your specifications?

or you could do one with REAL football (soccer)

or even rugby? like NFL, but without all the puffy padding/helmets/protection....
