Congratulations to dbandit70 and highlanderattack for winning the tourney! After a long intense tournament they manage to pull away a little at the end.

Look for bracket tourney 3 in the fall. To include: singles, doubles, and quads!

far2ezee is replacing KoE_Sirius as eddie2's teammate
nikola_milicki is replacing jackal31 as zips5000's teammate
thecrimsontides is replacing shoop76 as shaneback's teammate
Eddie2 is replacing Chewyblu3y as KoE_Sirius teammate!
changed the settings just slightly, to allow a few more teams to play!
This will be a 20 round tournament with 12 teams of 2 players.
Each round will consist of 3 brackets played out through all 8 place finishers.
Each round will be a different map.

Most of them are basic maps, with a few bonus tossed in at the end.
I've spent little time on most of these maps![/spoiler]The settings for each map will be escalating, sunny, and chained. (see what your enemy is doing!)
You will sign up as a team, but play as an individual.
You and your partner will always be in opposite brackets.
Each round the brackets will be entirely different, always assigned by random.org (with my control to make sure teammates aren't in the same bracket)
You will receive points based on what place you finish.

At the end of 20 rounds whichever team has the most points wins!
I will be running 2 rounds at a time, so freemiums must keep 2 slots open.
You will have 24 hours to join your game, if you don't you will forfeit.
You may sign up as an individual and risk random pairing, or choose a teammate.

round 2 for central america coming out today. Round 3 for ancient greece will be in the next couple of days. Round 3's are only the consolation semifinals, so no everyone will participate.

Questions:

1) What are the changes to the settings that you have mentioned?
2) Do the scores of the teams who people are replacing change with the personnel?

The settings I changed before before the tournament ever started. I made it 3 brackets running at the same time instead of 2. That was about it, just wanted 12 teams instead of 8.

As for question 2 I'm not sure I completely understand what you are asking? There scores are the same. I just placed them into the tournament in place of the people who dropped out. So for example at one point when Eddie2 stepped in Chewyblu3y was going to play for the 7th/8th place game. Thats where Eddie2 stepped in, in that bracket. They don't lose points for replacing a teammate if thats what you are asking.

Shoop left CC for personal reasons, so I allowed shaneback a replacement. I personally asked Chewyblu3y to leave the tournament because he was missing to many turns. Does that clear things up?
