Betrayer Mafia [Haggis and freezie win!]

Okay, here's my idea for my mafia game:
9 people:
-2 mafia
-1 cop
-1 betrayer
-5 townspeople/mob members

The mafia agree to kill one person per night (the mafia members will know who each other are). The cop can choose 1 person to get info on per night. The betrayer can get info on 1 person and kill a person in one night. When a cop decides to get info on the betrayer, the betrayer will come up either as townie or mafia. The townspeople get to do something too during the night! If all townspeople FoS the same person during the same night, they form a "mob" and eliminate that player. Thus, there is no discussing between townspeople who to kill during the "day", nor is FoS-ing aloud during the day.

During the day, people may nominate someone to go on trial (only 2 nominations are required). The accused must present his/her case then player must vote to lynch/not lynch the accused. If the majority rules no lynch, then the nomination process begins again and so on. Nominations must be made like so: Nominate Sully and voting to lynch must be done like so: Vote lynch. There must be a lynch by the end of the day.

Townspeople and cop win if the mafia members and the betrayer are killed.
Mafia wins if the only people left are them (or one of them) and either the cop or a townie.
The betrayer wins if only he and a townsperson or cop are left.
If a mafia member and the betrayer are left, then everyone loses.

EDIT: When someone is killed, they will be classified as "innocent" (a cop or townie) or "guilty" (the betrayer or a mafia member).

Well, I specifically don't understand how the FoS mechanism is supposed to work unless there's 1 or 2 town left OR everyone just happens to choose the same person. the only advantage of it is that you will never kill a towny with it, since no-one will FoS themselves, but the disadvantage is that you will never be killing anyone with it.

It's not supposed to be easy for the mob to kill someone. It's just a little extra something the townies can do. It'll be especially useful in a crunch when there's only like two town. I may include hints as to who people FoS'd in the night's summary just to give townies a small boost.
