What's the drive for freestyle + assassin + doodle earth?

Can anyone PLEASE explain the drive to play freestyle/assassin/doodle earth? I can understand those maps and settings, but never together!
I played a bunch over xmas break, and gained a ton of points, but then dropped to PFC... is there any other point to them to get lucky and get 100-200 points IF you win?

didn't really help me because it's always the same people playing them lol.
I think it's just because they can be so fun.

BUt its hard to win even 20% of the games you play! To get a bronze medal (assuming 20 wins to go, 30% win rate) you need to play around 15 games! Then to get silver, another 30 odd games, and so on... doesn't seem fast unless your win rate is around 50%
And as sdh said, the same people play in them.

This, without a doubt. It's the most intense experience on CC, and it's addictive. No mas for me, since a long time ago, but man they are wild.

I have to agree with those who say adrenaline. I don't play those crazy doodle games, but I play speed escalating word 2.1 sometimes. It's certainly less extreme, but I love the rush of racing against the clock in that last turn.

Im guessing this is freestyle if you are racing the clock? This is why i love classic escalating fs, such a rush to win or try for a move when you dont know what is going to happen. I have never liked assdoodles, so much luck who wins and the play of a noob can determine it which bothers me.

Unfortunately, I'm not even that extreme, plus I've never really enjoyed freestyle. You do have to race the clock in speed escalating on large maps because you can literally run out of time when sweeping the board, even with the 2.5 min bonus. I shOuld note that I don't use clickies, I'm sure most people who play speed freestyle doodle do, so it's hard to compare.

Ah, generally racing the clock is a freestyle thigh though i guess it could apply in sequential as well in cases like this

They're great for players like me with ADD because they rarely last more than 15 min and don't require to much thought.

If you're good and you abuse clicky maps you can win around 25% of your games.

I don't think I've ever played one. My home computer sucks, so dying while blinking has never seemed like a good use of my time.

That happens on doodle even if your computer is really fast.

It's a "get rich quick" type of game that require little skill and only luck, so if you can win a few you're already up points, despite not being any good.

So, I thought about Freestyle + Assassin + Doodle Earth and what my response would be to this question posed. And then I realized I don't think I've ever played this setting, for whatever reason. Hm.

Well off the top of my head medal collecting and if you stay online and are ready to take your turn as soon as the game starts given the size of the map you could potentially eliminate your target before others can even deploy...

I know it's not a record, but I won a game this way the other day in 13 seconds. I was lucky that my target hadn't deployed yet

Its interesting that none of the serious ass doodlers havent commented.
Ive played my fair share of them , in the beggining it was the call of easy points..but if/when i play them now its the buzz of being the fastest,,,but unfortunately too many noobs play now and suicide in the first round handing an easy victory to someone.
About a year ago a hardcore circuit used to play with the games getting into 5/6 rounds but its been taken over by the quick point grabbers that attack anything that moves in the first round.
If you get a decent set of players it is quick hard fun.

i think your all nuts, ass doodle is like going to Atlantic city to play the slot machines, and if you have not won, its cause either you suck, have no strat for the map, or are one of the people who just join too many games that you cannot be able to be there when it starts. i also agree with the noobs , i wont mention names, but we all know who they are, the suiciders, who auto out, or since they cant win....and they attack the 1 territ of their assassin, when there is absolutely any way to get to the other, they are one of my 400 plus foes.....i am master on this map for a reason, and if i died today, it may be years till they even come close to my score on it ....ill post my win /loss record shortly
Doodle Earth Field Marshal +32103 2991 from 14356(21%) 1964 Serial Killer (57%)18895 Equalitarian (0.937)
and im sure if we played with " normal " people, it would be much more
so if you didnt win on it, its cause you suck haha

Not as short as assassin games, and they can still require some thought and placement. Kind of an in-between, I'd say.
