Its gonna be:

- Standard
- Escalating (changed from flat rate)
- Sequential
- Automatic
- Chained
- With no Fog of War

The way the tournaments gonna work is:

There will be 3 players in each game
The first ten games there will be no elimination
Every win you get in these games you get a point
The 8 players with the most points will play in a final round (tied players will play in a tie breaker round)

Ok guys, hopefully I can get this to run smooth, but it may be a slow start until I get used to the settings.

There was a question in the old thread about whether or not you would be in the same groups the whole tournament, but the rules does not state either way. I think it would be best for it not to, so I am going to randomize the groups every round (random.org). I think this is the best way to keep things fresh and interesting. So if you end up playing the same guy multiple times, it's completely by chance. However, if it continues to happen (and it shouldn't with 42 players) let me know and I will make sure it doesn't happen again.

I am instating a 30 round cap on all games as some games are taking too much time. After 30 rounds, the game will be declared a tie and no points will be awarded.

Please continue to post wins in this thread, or PM them to me, thanks. This will make the tournament run smoother and faster.

EDIT: All games shifted to escalating spoils. Too many games are stalemating and going past the cap.

Question: .. if after 30 rounds there is no winner .. will there no points be given ?

Why not 1/2 a point for the persons who are still alive and 0 if you're already illiminuated .. ?

I'm considering options for changing it up because there are a number of games going over 30 rounds. One option is to change to escalating spoils instead of flat rate. I will wait and see how this round goes. I might take your advice and award half points in this round, thank you

I will update this as soon as the tournament finder is fixed. I can`t search for tournaments games and did not record the game numbers so it would be extremely hard for me to record scores and create new games and invite players to them
