Someone was already making a PA map. Again, with any map based on a state/region/county/district/province there's a major lack of appeal. I think the foundry is already overwhelmed with an abundance of mediocre maps. If this map was to get through the foundry everyone is going to want to make a map of their own area.

Looks like a good start. I think most people here will not like a US State map, but I grew up in Johnstown & Bedford so I'm all for it!

6 bonuses and 60 territories will kill this map unless you break it up into smaller bonuses and more of them. It has potential... I'm just not sure it's worth it though.

i agree that states have limited appeal... we've seen other attempts come and go, like Arkansa. And having driven the entire length of the PA turnpike, I have to say it didn't inspire me to want to spend any time exploring maps of the state.

if this is the large map i wonder how the small one looks

really there are some unnecessary things like the liberty bell (can be blended on the background) the little map in the lower right (useless), the liberty bell text (useless).

so put the bell on the background and move the legend in the top right (where the bell is now) and delete the whole lower part. this way you'll be able to make the map much bigger. also get rid of the totol text. there's no point for it. we have greasemonkey that tells us how many territories are ther. other than that improve the graphics, make more continents (10 or even 11), and change colours.

PS: what's the blue triangle in the top left part of the map??

PPS: yellow has 16!! territories and 9 borders. i think this is freakishly huge and that +9 bonus is nowhere near what it should be. maybe a +13 or so.

I'm interested. But that's only because I live in PA.

In the red continent, the text is unreadable. Change the color, or something.

Needs some work, but if people say continue go for it.
I say more maps the better(meeting specifications of course).
Maps of different regions/states/provinces has the potential to attract more passers by to the site.

Maybe put the legend over the bell.
Take out the smaller map of the USA and then extend the map down so you can make it larger.

Not really one to comment on territories/playability.

Cheers,

Hm, I'm not sold on the idea for PA map. It has no appeal to me, and if you don't have the graphics talent to make it interesting at all, I suggest dropping the project.
