A few reasons
1. There will always be at least one in signups at all times.
2. People want to see what settings they want for the championship.
3. It's good advertising and information distribution, especially for those who hope to join many of them to make a run at the grand finale.
4. As any of these first few start to finish, I'll be asking the winners which spots on the bracket they want.

So what happens if someone who already won one of the tourneys wins another one? Does the Runner-Up get the spot or are the previous winners just not allowed to compete in the rest of the series?

You can have multiple spots in the finale bracket. If you would play yourself, you just get a bye!

I just noticed you have Jamaica in the manual district. I don't think that makes sense, as Jamaica on manual only counts for medals (there is nothing you get to place).

Thanks!! Having never played it, I thought it was a classic style map from the image in the browse maps section. It has been replaced by Puget Sound
