eset firewall lighting up

Post by TheTrueNorth »

eset is actively blocking "fileden.com/files/2008/5/8/1902058/maprank"
ip "98.142.215.183:80"

With a key word being maprank I'm wondering if it has something to do with this site & should I unblock it.

I wouldn't unblock it.
I got it too, but i don't think it's the site.
Antivirus stopped going off when i disabled maprank, so it is the culprit.

from maprank's code:

Code: Select all

GM_xmlhttpRequest({
  method: 'GET',
  url: 'http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/5/8/1902058/maprank.txt?nocache=' + Math.random(),

Looks the file has been infected that maprank is accessing on fileden.com
