So, I've been interested for a while in creating a map if I could and have been percolating on a few ideas. The one I'm thinking about is an updated Madagascar map.
In 2007 Madagascar modified it's administrative divisions. Prior to 2007, it existed with the six provinces subdivided into 22 regions. Although, we see 24 regions on the existing CC map called 'Madagascar'.
After a 2007 referendum, the six provinces were dissolved. The 22 regions became the 'top' level administrative divisions. These regions were further divided into districts. There are 116 of them resulting in a map that is quite a bit larger than the existing Madagascar map. (Note: The following map is ripped from the web and does not represent my proposed map imagery. It is meant only to illustrate the districts.)

There are also 48 cities which hold the same 'district' classification. My gut says to not include them for fear of cluttering the map.
So, let me hear your thoughts. Does this map have any merit at all? Is there interest in another, larger, Madagascar map?
Thanks in advance for considering it.

Re: Madagascar 2007
Sure, why not? Hope you'll find ways to spice up the mechanics a bit, though.
On the face of things, it seems like you might have trouble fitting things in the middle there, with all the small districts.
