OK, I'll be appearing at the Queen's Head near Kings Cross Station as a part of the "New Comedy" night on JUne 7th.
I'm also trying to fix something up for the day after that, and for the previous Wednesday, but I've heard nothing definite about that yet. In between those dates, i'll be in the wilds of Welsh Wales, where they haven't invented comedy yet.

You might be able to get away with jokes about your American accent...

I could potentially make it, providing I have finished my 2 take away exams by then, which I have a week to do and receive on the 3rd.

Knowing you, you'll be wasting time on live chat instead of finishing them in time to see him

Good luck jones.

If I get heckled, I just turn my hearing aid off.
Incidentally folks, it's free.
I still haven't heard about the other two dates.

OK guys, listen up.
For reasons which won't be relevant here, I'm pond-hopping a lot this year.
As I said, I've got a comedy spot on june 7th in Kings Cross (it's free, do come along, tell them you're here to see Jonesey, link above), and I'm trying to get a couple more near that date.
On August Bank Holiday Monday, August 29th, I have scored a major coup.
I am appearing at THE COMEDY STORE* in the
King Gong show. I am seriously impressed by this - it's the UK's most prestigious comedy venue, it's where all the original
Who's Line is it people started, just thinking about it makes me trouser-changingly nervous.
Not to mention the format of the show...
The idea of the show is for you to have prepared five minutes’ worth of comedy material and to see if you can last the full five minutes without being gonged off! The Compere hands out three red cards to three sections of the audience – the red card holders are changed from time to time – and when three cards are held up, the contestant is gonged off.
Those who last the five minutes, usually about five or six contestants only, are brought back on stage at the end of the show for a ‘clapometer’ style final – the two contestants most obviously appreciated by the audience then do another one minute ‘joke-off’, and again audience response decides THE winner.
Again, I'd love to have some of you in the audience - I'm gonna need all the support I can get - here's how to get a ticket - again, tell 'em you're coming to see Jonesey.
(Tickets cost only £8 - you can BOOK IN ADVANCE, on-line - web address below - or by phone - 08448 717 699 or, to avoid the booking fee per ticket, from our Box Office in person- Sun to Thurs 6.30pm – 9.15pm; Fri & Sat 6.30pm – 1am . Booking in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment on the night.)
Yes, THE COMEDY STORE! I am bloody impressed by myself now!

Here you are in alphabetical order:
and here you are in order of shoe size:
Bad news is, the August Bank Holiday event has been cancelled, though they said they garuantee I'll have a place the next time I'm in London on the last Monday of the month.
Er, thanks.
Meanwhile, another New York biggie - at the Broadway Comedy Club June 25th, 7pm.
here's a link

In the end I only did the one - I was intending to arrange some more while i was wandering around the country - but the UK now appears to be devoid of public access computers, so I just had to take a break insteaad. I have to say the gig itself wasn't my most successsful - I think i may have become warped onto too ,much of an American style of humour. Sorry, humor...
