Why is it no longer possible to search tournaments in
game finder? How should I now find the games in the tournament I'm organizing?

It's still possible. You have to use the [Find a Tournament] button to bring up a popup where you search for your tournament by partial name or by one of the other search criteria. You then hit the [Select] button and it inserts it into the Game Finder page.
