Remember the old game from when you were little? So simple, but it was so much fun. How pissed did you get when you landed on the big chute? Well this tournament is going to involve a little skill, and a lot of luck.
There will be 16 players involved. Each round will have two eight player games with the participants in each group selected randomly. The first player to make it to 100 or above wins the tournament. If players are tied at or above 100, there will be a five game playoff with five random maps from the list below.
To move along the board, we will use the following scale as our roll of the dice.
Dice Roll
1st Place: 6
2nd Place: 4
3rd Place: 3
4th Place: 2
5th Place: 2
6th Place: 1
7th Place: 1
8th Place: 0
Only those who finish in 4th – 7th place in each game can slide down a chute. The ladders starting in spaces 1 and 4 are inactive for all players. Keep an eye on who you are eliminating and when because you may actually be doing them a favor.
The following maps will be used in this order. They were selected because they are relatively small and will allow a maximum of three regions for each player at the start. If we get to the end of the list, we will start over again from the beginning.
Cyprus
Doodle Earth
Dust Bowl
Egypt: Lower
Egypt: Nubia
Egypt: Upper
Greater China
Haiti
Luxembourg
Madagascar
Game settings are as follows: Standard, Automatic, Sequential, Nuclear, Unlimited, Sunny

Game 5A has taken quite a bit of time. I'll be sending out a new game as soon as it finishes up.
