Is this a valid policy?

Apparently there is a policy that multiple (at least 1) TOs use, and that is if Player A is in multiple tournaments run by Player B, and Player A withdraws from 1 tournament, he is immediately withdrawn from the other 2.

Also, is this valid if not listed publicly?

If you drop out of a tournament simply because you aren't doing well in a tournament, that pisses a lot of organizers off and they'll just remove you from all of their tournaments. The same thing happens if you deadbeat out of a tournament.

What if the person thought it was stupid and was getting fed up with it? But was in the lead?

Doesn't the TO have to publicly state this will happen? This player is high ranking (General) and is winning in at least 2 of the 3 tournaments. He had no idea this was going to happen.

I've seen organizers get pissed at a player who quits a tournament simply because he's losing too many points. Why should an organizer allow a player to continue in the tournaments he's doing well in but drop out and cause headaches in the ones he's not doing well in? If you sign up for a tournament, you are committing to play it until you win, get knocked out, or leave the site. It's rude to everybody in the tournament, especially the organizer, if you drop out simply because points are worth more than fair play and respectability.

well i must say that mine each tournament its individual, not connected, so these i think its not OK.
If someone wining in one tournament and in other are losing ,and dont want to play, then its normal to be kick from one tournament, not from all tournament.
