There are a lot of top ten worst state lists on the web, but all of them are based on a single justification. Maybe the list is based on retirement, or on crime. But overall, which state do you despise the most?
This list was pieced together from multiple other lists.

New Jersey and 'Bama get the most shit...Jersey is of course home of the worst drivers and guidos while 'Bama is the generic redneck state.

I voted for Iowa. There are only 3 other states on there that get as cold/colder. And there isn't much for economy outside of farming here in most of Iowa.

I voted for Texas and Arkansas 'cause i heard thats where you go if you wanna marry ur sister.

It's funny to see some of the reasons that you guys picked for why a particular state is worse than another. I also can't help but wonder if Texas is leading because of it's state-wide arrogance problem, or if you guys hate rodeos or what? All of my choices were Bible-thumping states.

Also, stop voting for Illinois.

I'm surprised that Detroit didn't earn Michigan a spot on this list.
My vote would possibly have to be for Arkansas, because people are weird there. But it's tough to vote, because I've only been to 20 states.

From my experiences of dealing with the people from the 30ish states Ive been in and where I grew up.
1. California- Reason: "lets talk about how fucking awesome Cali is all the time"
2.Texas- Reason Similar to California in the were da shit category, plus the lets go huntin in Colorado
3. Florida Reason: their RVs are everywhere and they drive slow like assfucks, and taking pictures of the stupidest shit
4. New York- we're tough and got everything and we're better than boston
5. Mass- we're tough and got everything and we're better than new york
*4&5 both have equally shit drivers. New Jersey get an honable mention becuase of the irony of 'garden state', its a giant tollbooth, plus they haven't killed those dumbfucks from jersey shore yet

This video is really messed up. I don't suggest watching it if you want to have a nice day. Also, my decision wasn't based off this video. I've been to Arkansas and it's like the worst place ever. Every store has knives in it, and we ran into the scariest angry dad I've ever seen. It was horrible.

Well, we did have a whole thread where I took on basically the whole CC community by proving that the South is responsible for the countries biggest problems.

Anyway for those of you who think that this is a North Vs South thread, google "worst state list." AS I ALREADY STATED, EACH STATE ON THIS LIST WAS FROM OTHER LISTS. AMERICANS DISLIKE THE SOUTH, THAT'S NOT MY FAULT.


Also, if I could have added two more spaces, California and Michigan would have both made the list. I believe that Michigan is better received by people because they understand that the state has problems, but also that they have been working hard to fix them. Personally, I can't understand how California didn't make the list. . . . mostly everyone had good things to say about California. It has great weather, there's lots of activities to do there, and they have a beautiful system of parks. Also, like Illinois, the state's rural areas are mostly conservative. I assume that helps people's view of the state too.

right, but a state with a balance sheet worse than greece's not making the list and a state that boasts more job growth than the rest combined making the list....I can still point out obvious bias and denial right?

Okay. I voted other (California) cuz "worse than Greece" doesnt get ya on the list these days. And as for weirdos, San Fransisco got nuttin on a Cowboy amirite?
