This festival-style speed tournament is open to Freemiums.

Feel free to join games.

The tournament is underway.

By joining games you are deemed to have agreed to all rules.

The password for all games is 'Tree'.

The tournament will run over two days to coincide with the speed game holiday for freemiums.

Before joining, please check all rules and ensure you are happy with the times.

Settings
Map: Christmas.
Players per game: 2 - 4
Game Types: Standard, Terminator & Assassin
Initial Troops: Automatic
Play Order: Sequential
Spoils: Escalating
Reinforcements: Chained
Fog of War: Yes and No
Round Length: 4 Minutes
Round Limit: 20 Rounds

Setup & Structure

The tournament starts on Monday 26th December at CC Time: 2011-12-26 10:00:00 (15:00 PM BST).

The last games will be created on Tuesday 27th December CC Time: 2011-12-27 18:00:00 (23:00 PM BST).

Any remaining games can still be played. Unfilled games will be deleted on Tuesday CC Time: 2011-12-27 19:00:00 (Midnight BST).

Players can join as many games as they wish.

      Games will be 2-player, 3-player and 4-player.

Players will be ranked by kill points percentage.

      This is calculated as follows:

Each victory in 2-player standard games counts for 24 kill points.

Each victory in 3-player standard or assassin games counts for 36 kill points.
Each victory in 4-player standard or assassin games counts for 48 kill points.

Each kill in 3-player terminator games counts for 18 kill points.
Each kill in 4-player terminator games counts for 16 kill points.

(This reflects the real probabilities per kill according to player numbers.)

Each player's kill points are added up and divided by the number of games played to give a kill points percentage.

The player with the best kill points percentage will win the tournament outright.

The Tournament Winner will receive 3 months Premium, a Tournament Winners Medal and a General Achievement Medal.

The players finishing second and third will also be rewarded with a General Achievement medal.

Medal winners must have played at least 8 games including 3 of the 7 game types (2-player, 3-player standard, assassin & terminator & 4-player standard, assassin & terminator).

Important Rules
• Truces are not allowed. Players may advise one another but if a truce is agreed the players concerned will be ejected from the tournament.
  • Players must not divulge details of opponents location in fog games. Players can however refer to information provided in the game log. If fog information is divulged then the player(s) concerned will be ejected from the tournament.
  • If a player deadbeats then the result will stand unless a player repeatedly deadbeats, in which case the situation will be analysed with some, or all, games being potentially annulled. However, kill points are not awrded for killing a deadbeat in a terminator game.
  • Any issues will be solved by the Tournament Organiser and his word is final.
  • In the event of players finishing in perfectly equal positions to determine medal awards, a 1-game winner-takes-all play-off will take place (casual, sunny settings).
  • The Tournament Organiser reserves the right to make minor structural modifications for the benefit of the tournament.

These rules will be strictly enforced for the benefit of the tournament - infractions should be reported to the Tournament Organiser ([player]DJ Teflon[/player]).
Good point - let's make it 4 minutes if nobody that has already signed-up objects (otherwise we'll revert back to the old 5 minutes.

Sometimes emit confused words;
Man crosses it through forests of symbols
That observe him with familiar glances."
