if you fail to kill your target and own one of the arab spring countries in the above list or kill the wrong target, you loose a life. 2 lives given per round. third strike and your out.
In this tournament, open in game diplomacy is encouraged. If diplomacy fails then revert to a violent takeover of one of the countries listed below.
Round 1
4 x 8 player games
The winner of each game progresses to round 2 providing they own one of the following territories Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Iraq or Algeria. when the game is finished
So just to clarify, if you have a kill you can make - make sure you take one of the above territories or already own one, before killing your target.
If the winner doesn't own one of these territories the game is replayed.
If we have a winner, the remaining 7 players of each game play again with 7 players until we get down to 5 player games so that 4 players emerge from each of the 4 games (a total of 16 players progress from round 1)

Round 2
2 x 8 player games
Played as per round 1 until we get down to 4 players emerging from each of the 2 games (a total of 8 players progress from round 1)
Round 3
The winner of this single game wins providing they own one of the following territories Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Iraq or Algeria.
If the winner doesn't own one of these territories the game is replayed.
