Most Games At Once

What is the most game someone has had going at once? I used to keep my count around 70 or so, but the past 6 months, it's been up around 120 or higher and I peaked around 180.

What's your highest?

theherkman had 1100~ or so going at once. The most I had was about 70

I think I've been in the 80 range, but never above that. Especially when I pick up other obligations.

From what I remember, Herkman beat his record. So Herk had to have 1200+. I think the number was 1256.

But herk doesn't count since he deadbeated most of them.

Army of nobunaga had a lot of games at one point too, something over a 1000 I think.

I remember, 50 of them were against me, by the time they ended he had already deadbeated so many games i only got 3-4 points each game,

I usually try to keep my game count to about 20ish games, when the herkman tried that record i had about 70 that was my most ever

I've had more than 200 going at once. The old Map Blaster tournaments caused pretty much all the participants to run counts that high.

Around 250 and ran about 20-30 tournaments at that point

This is going to sound weak in comparison to all of you, but I think I topped out at aroudn 25 or 30. I simply can't fathom having over 100 at once, and 1200+ sounds absurd to me!

28 was the top for me as far as I know, and I found that to be too much. So I thought that race between HA and Herk was insane..

Everybody's mentioning theherkman and HA, but in between the two there was apparantly AoN's run at the "title"

Anyway, as far as I could dig up, the records were:
HighlanderAttack 1220
Army of Nobunaga 1280
theherkman 1306

Many people consider HA's record to be the only legitimate one, because he actually played out every game, while the other two ended up deadbeating most of them.

As for myself? I think I reached 120 once, but anything over 100 is crazy, and in fact anything over 60 and CC starts to feel more like work than recreation. I struggle to stay below 60, but of course there are so many cool tournaments to join, and I just can't help myself.

back when i was working for someone else (could use the better part of my workday to engage in CC) i had around 90-100 as standard, now however when i work for myself i keep around 30-40 and mostly teamgames.. anything more than that just takes up too much time..

hell if i could id quit completely it still takes about 1/18th of my precious work-day away, but then again, its recreation i guess

I don't think I have ever been above 30. I usually keep around 6-15 at once. Almost all my games are team games and depending on your teams style you could still take a good few hours a day to take that amount of turns.

For me, team games take up 90% of my time even though they are never more than 20% of my games.

I don't often check in and discuss strategy in singleplayer games when it is not my turn. Team games I check sometimes compulsively.

I had about 100 of those games with HA at that time. I would move ASAP just to keep him on his toes. :twisted:
