"May the odds be ever in your favor."
Background Information:
"The Hunger Games" is a fight-to-the-death tournament against other players. The struggle takes place in a country of misery built on what was once North America. In a world of limited resources, the tyrannical government run by the Capitol keeps its citizens in line by separating them into 12 Districts and reinforcing severe class separations. Their strongest tool to promote disunion and to discourage rebellion is the Hunger Games: a yearly event where two tributes from each district are pitted against each other for the country to watch on television.
Qualification and Entering Phase:
-Freemiums are welcome, since only one round of games will be played simultaneously.
-All ranks are welcome as well.
-You may enter as a doubles team or as a single entry; your rank as a doubles team will be the average of the two scores. I will make it immediately clear that you will not play as a doubles team throughout the entire tournament, only the first 4 rounds. Upon entering, you will automatically be placed in order of rank. The highest will be in District 1, down to the lowest-ranked participants who will be placed in District 12. 24 total participants/tributes (2 for each district) must apply before the 1st Annual Hunger Games can initiate. Judging on the popularity and success of the first Hunger Games, more may be played in the future.
Settings:
Rounds 1-4: Doubles, Automatic, Sequential, No Spoils, Chained, Foggy, No Round Limit, No Trench Warfare
Rounds 5-13 and Individual Finals of Rounds 1-4: Standard, Automatic, Sequential, Escalating, Chained, Sunny, No Round Limit, No Trench Warfare. (These will be a variety of players per game, from 8 down to 4.)
You will immediately be placed on a doubles team and set up in a traditional bracket-style tournament. District 1 will play District 12, 2 will play 11, etc.
Winners: The winners of each game will advance to the winner's side, exempting them from elimination. The six doubles teams which win will play again, narrowing the winner's side down to three teams. The team which wins in the fewest rounds of play in round 2 will receive a bye to the winner's finals, while the other two teams battle again to advance to the final. After a doubles team has been declared the winner for the day, they will duke it out in a 1v1 versus each other to determine the outright individual winner. The winner of the final will receive the chance to choose a player from the loser's side to be killed.
Losers: The losers of each game will advance to the loser's side, where the six losing teams will play each other. Losing in round 2 also exempts you from elimination, so you can only be killed if your doubles team loses both of the first two games. The losing team which loses in the fewest rounds advances immediately to the loser's final, while the other two teams battle again to not advance to the final. The losing doubles team in this final will duke it out in a 1v1 versus each other to determine the outright individual loser. The individual loser of day 1 will be automatically killed and eliminated from the tournament.
This process is much simpler than it looks, just win one of your first two games and you can't get killed. It will repeat for the first 4 days, eliminating 2 each day (the outright loser and the winner's pick) for a total of 8 killed.

The sixteen players which live to Day 5 will be split up from their doubles partner, at which point it becomes a free-for-all and the process becomes much simpler. Each day, the groups are split up into two equal games and battle it out. The winners will play each other to determine the outright individual winner, and the losers (first players eliminated) will play each other to determine the outright loser. The loser is automatically killed, and the winner gets to pick who they want to kill. You are exempt from the winner's kill if you were not one of the first four players in your game eliminated (first 3 for days 7 and
Only eight individuals remain to see Day 9, where only one game instead of 2 is played. The first player eliminated is automatically killed, and the winner gets to pick who they want to kill. Once again, you are exempt from the winner's kill if you were not one of the first four players in your game eliminated. This process repeats on Day 10, quickly reducing the field to 4 left (first 3 eliminated up for elimination for day 10).

Only four individuals remain to see Day 11, where games of four are played until only one player remains who has yet to win a game. That player is instantly killed (by the winner of the first game), leaving three. The same process repeats for Day 12, in three player games. Since these have a habit of becoming the stalemates, a round limit will be placed of 20 rounds to prevent a stale game. The player who remains as the last one to not win a game is instantly killed (by the winner of the first game), leaving two.
-Random map will be used for all games in these two rounds.

The remaining two individuals will battle in a 1v1 royale, best of 11. The player who wins at least six games kills the other finalist and is crowned as the champion of the 1st Annual Hunger Games.
Notes:
-If Hive is ever selected as random, a replacement game will be instantly set up since Hive takes too long!
-During days 2 and 4, there are an odd number of teams left (11 and 9, respectively). An elaborate alternative is not required; the winners of the previous round will sit out of the competition for these rounds and be exempt from the winner's kill.
-You must join the games within 24 hours, at which point a replacement invite will be sent out. Failure to join after the second invite results in an automatic kill.
-I reserve the right to make any decision pertaining to questions or problems which may arise during the game.
-Happy hunting everyone, and good luck not getting killed
