2004/2005 UEFA Champions League Winner: Benzorrr

In this new tournament series we will be replaying all 5 of Liverpool's European Cup triumphs, beginning with the most recent one in 2005.

There will be 32 teams in 8 groups of 4. The top 2 from each group will advance to a randomly drawn knockout stage. Pick your map and settings but no freestyle. After round 12 it's a draw so you might not want to pick a large map or trench. In the knockout stage you will play 2 games. If they are drawn 1-1 an extra time map (random, foggy, no spoils) will be used. If teams finish level on points in the group stage, head to head points will be used. If there is still a tie then away wins will be used. After that, I guess we will just play a game on a random map. In the group stage you will play 6 matches, a home and away fixture against the other 3 teams in your group. Tournament is open to freemiums as as long as they keep two games open at all times.

Here is the format broken down:

Group stage. Eight groups of four. Top two advance. Group stage schedule will consist of six games - Two against each team in your group. 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw.

Knockout stage. 16 teams. One game on each team's home map. If the teams split (keep in mind 12 round draw rule), the tiebreaker settings will be used (random map, no spoils, foggy). There tournament will proceed from this point on as a normal bracket tournament.
