I recommend visiting the Strategy Forums.. and searching for 'Lunar War'.

There are official strategy guides for various maps and they are kept in the Strategy Forums.. doesn't appear there is one for Lunar War but there is at least 1 thread in there about Lunar War strategy.

You could also check the Foundry thread. Sometimes they discuss how the map will play as they are building it.

I know this is coming too late, man, but in general, it's good to keep a sizable portion of troops on your shuttles. You need to watch out for players taking Helium bonuses.

Strategy depends in large part on the settings for your game. Taking a bonus can be handy if it's a team game, but when I played the map, I focused on eliminating the other player.

Personally I like this map though might not be the greatest at it but when you take your two landing sites it is a bonus. also put most of your troops on a landing site that is close to a mine (mine gives extra bonus) and close to a missile base (remember missile base reverts to neutral so you don't leave troops there) US2 is a good place because once you take Mare Fecunditas you can hit both a mine and a missile base, also IN2 is a good place. Hope this helps. Actually If I can beat them to the punch I don't leave any on my shuttle.

You need the missile base to hit their shuttles, too, so it's good to park a stack near one.
