NHL 2012/2013 - [Abandoned]

I know the hockey season doesn't start till October 11th (and hopefully there's no lockout), but let's start early!

This tournament will consist of the entire NHL 2012-2013 regular season and playoffs, CC style. The winner of the tournament will become the "Conquerley Cup" champion!

Here's how it will work:

Each player will be required to choose an NHL team that they will play with for the duration of the tournament. In addition, they will need to specify their "home ice" settings, which include the following:

- Their desired map
- Sunny or Foggy
- Reinforcement preference

In addition, all games will have the following settings:
Automatic / Sequential / Escalating / No trench / 20 rounds

Each player will play at least 82 games in the tournament.

Everything will be based off of the NHL 2012/2013 schedule, which starts on October 11th. One of those games is between Montreal and Ottawa. So, the player representing Montreal and the player representing Ottawa would play each other in game 1 of their season. This process will continue for all 82 games.

Once every player has played their 82 games, the top 8 players/teams from each conference will move on to the playoffs, where they will battle for the tournament champion.

A win is worth 2 points, a loss is 0. For simplicity, there will be no ties or OT wins\losses.

To keep things manageable, each player will have four games on the go at a time. Once everyone completes their four games, I will update the standings, post them here, and then start the next four game set. This will continue until we reach the playoffs.

You will have 48 hours in which to accept your invite. If you do not accept in time, I will go to a reserve, who will take your spot for the remainder of the tournament.
