Can you conquer Rome as a team? COMPLETED

How does it work?
- 8 teams with 2 players each (with enough interest I could expand to 16 teams)
- elimination with each round being played as best of 3 (to make it a question of gameplay instead of drop and dice)
- all games are sent out at once: freemiums can join, but have to keep 3 slots open
- whichever team wins at least 2 of the 3 games will advance to the next round
- teams will be ranked by their points; brackets will start from highest rank to lowest for each round

Games:
- all games are on Conquer Rome: 3 double games at once for each player
- settings: auto, seq, chained, no spoils, foggy, no trench, no round limit

The 12 hour fog rule will be enforced. What is it? After the game has been initialized, the team going first has to wait 12 hours before taking the turn. If the other team informs that it had a look at the map/got a snapshot, the team could start earlier of course. So give your opponent a chance to have a look at the map before starting. Breaking the 12 hour rule will turn a win of the specific game into a loss - so think twice if you can afford an easy loss.

Players will have 48 hours to join games once invitations are sent. If a member of the team does not join within 48 hours, the game will be a loss for the team.

i assume you decide the 1 v 1 games based on points...the highest point person plays the highest point person...or should teams when they enter decide who is 1 and 2 and the 1's play the 1's and the 2's play the 2's?

Also, you say 2 spots need to stay open? is the 2 v 2 game going to be sent out as needed (in event the 1 v 1 games split) or are 3 games sent out at once?
