What about an "endurance" medal for people who play LOTS, but don't necessarily win that much.
It would be sort of a consolation, something for those who are not that great to at least get "something"
I would make the numbers quite high ... Maybe playing 5000 (even 10000) games completed OR 100 on each if at least 30 maps/all maps for the "bronze".

The idea seems a bit lame to me. The medals do anyway only show how many games are played in a specific setting and not the ability of the player in a specific setting. (not only but in the first instance).

If there was a medal just for the sheer number of games completed, this would probably be the best sequence of numbers. If those were the numbers, there would currently be 582 players with the bronze, 226 players would also have the silver medal, and only 33 would have the gold.

As much as I like medals, I don't really like this idea. I think medals should be earned rather than just handed out. I would like to see the ratings medal disappear. Though I can understand that ratings can be useful, and a medal encourages people to rate. Maybe I'm just a grumpy old man.

we do get rewarded for games played, it is called 'value for money' and everyone on CC gets it.
