I propose ,if you write something in game chat and are awaiting a response, that if your partner is writing a response,a lil note will pop up so and so is writing.
Specifics/Details:
This way you know he has received msg and is answering, just like Facebook and skype do.
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
This would help partners know that if time is ticking down that in fact an answer is coming from your partner.
Mod Edit: Applied suggestion form per author request, and tried to come up with a more descriptive name.

It's similar to chatglove, except this one seems a bit more involved. I like it!
EDIT: After re-reading the first post I realize it is different from chatglove a bit.. But still kinda cool
So basically you'd only be getting the message saying 'Player xxxxxx is writing a message' If you are in the game, looking at the chatbox that the message would appear in?
If thats the case then this would be awesome for speed, especially speed FS dubs/trips etc

yes and similar to skype as well,so lets get this incorporated fellas
Where should the notification appear? In the message box itself, as the last line in chat, in the space in between those, or somewhere else?
Should the message only inform you of your teammates typing or all players?
What effect should the note to self and teammates only box have on this notification?
How should multiple people writing at the same time be displayed? In normal games you could probably just list them all, but you could run into issues with a Battle Royale.
How should players not in the game writing in the chat be handled?
in dubs trips quads, very helpful ,for other non team games maybe not so useful .example, bigg chief to team; shall ig for oceania ? if we are playing a 2 minute speed game and I am waiting for team to respond.at least I would know that my team has read my post and is writing a response so I can get ready to do my move with ample time , so while I wrote " shall i go for oz?" i read hmsps is "writing "or afroaction is "writing" at least i know it has been acknowledged and a response is coming for ppl not in game chat, well they can still leave comments .
