move assassin notification

move assassin notification

Concise description:
  • Move the assassin notification to when you start your turn

Specifics/Details:
  • Instead of having the target listed at the initialization line, have it listed when you begin your turn.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • In an 8 player game, I notice that I don't scroll all the way up to see the "your target is so and so". If it's listed as i'm receiving armies for deployment, I'd be more likely to see it.

I also thought the assassin block was poorly placed, and I hope this is a quick fix.

To be honest, in an assassin game on my first turn, I probably wouldn't even look at the game log at all. I wonder if it would be better served to have a pop-up notification...

In the end, you can only notify people so many ways and so many times that they need to kill one specific person to win.
