It is the early twentieth century. As a member of the clandestine Russian revolutionaries you have undergone initial spy training (in Chapter I) and become a key man in the planned revolution (Chapter II).
The eve of the Revolution is nigh. Comrades, now is the time to bring to an end three centuries of Romanov dynastic rule. As Lenin has predicted, Russia has been the tool of French and British capitalist Imperialism in the War. This is becoming clear to the masses, the deception by the bourgeoisie is finally being unmasked, layer-by-layer.
The Bolsheviks in Petrograd have organized for the self-emancipation of the working class. The Tsarist regime is floundering under the effects of the war, the proletariat are rebelling, the initiative being taken by the most oppressed and downtrodden.
We will bring Power to the People.
Along with a number of other comrades you are charged to undertake further missions to remove Tsarist political and military leaders as the socialist revolution gathers pace toward completion.
Details of your first two missions will be provided to you in some kind of untraceable anonymous fashion (in keeping with the need for secrecy) – only those successful in competing one of these missions will be enscripted for further missions (unless there is an insufficient number of comrades for further missions, in which case surviving unsuccessful comrades will be given an additional mission to demonstrate their competence).
You are also briefed on the recognition and benefits that success would bring, as well as being warned that failure to complete the initial mission will result in you being removed from the elite spy core.
[spoiler= Evolving Storyline]
A note is slipped under your appartment door:
"Comrades, the Proletariat strikes and militant action are moving towards culmination.
If we can combine this Bolshevik action with elimination of key Tsarist government and military officials, then the military will not support the Tsar as civil action escalates. The result will be a Socialist Revolution.
If you look outside your window you will see a comrade with a turned-up collar and a red star upon his hat - he carries information of your targets' whereabouts - many officials can be tracked down by rail, whilst many key military Tsarists are located in Moscow. You will be given s much detail of your targets identities and whereabouts as we have.

After your successful mission, you are taken to a secret Petrograd warehouse for de-briefing.
Although he had been reported to be in Finland, Lenin himself steps up to speak:

- The fascist Kerensky, head of the Government, is reintroducing the death penalty and has appointed Lavr Kornilov Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Army. Kornilov and his officers are supported by the English and will stop at nothing to quell the proletariat. They are planning a military coup which must be stopped at all costs. Killing their political support in London will defeat their plan.
Again, military targets in Moscow must be removed to pave way for the true Socialist Revolution. Without that support, the bourgeois capitalist Provisional Government cannot endure.
Similarly, you must travel again by rail to eliminate Provisional Government supporters in other key cities, particularly Petrograd.
Comrades, trust the network of Bolshevic agents that have identified targets for you - they will follow the same information protocols for these missions. You merely have to wait for their visit.
Those successful in competing any mission will be enscripted for further missions as we will undoubtedly face bourgeois opposition once a Socialist Republic is established once and for all.

You celebrate the revolution long into the night, but are awoken early from your drunken stupor. Again, you are taken to a secret Petrograd warehouse for de-briefing.
"Comrades,the buorgeoisie are crushed and Kornilov's attempted military coup is defeated.
Power is with the People and the People thank you for your role.
Socialism is here and we may rejoice.
Red October will be remembered in history for all time.
Of course the bourgeois capitalists will not give up yet, they will attempt civil war. But, with the Proletariat and the Red Army behind the Soviets, we know they will fail and we will soon create The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
We know historical materialism to be true. Soon comrades of the proletariat throughout the world will seek emancipation. And the capitalist imperialists fear that more than anything.
We must be on our guard against them, for the British, the French, the Americans and the Japanese will aid the bourgeoisie in their attempts to stop the People by force in a civil war:
- With socialism gaining ground in China, the Japanese fear being surrounded by emancipation and are preparing troops as we speak. Officers in their military bases hold the key to their involvement in our affairs.
- The French have always conspired to stop us and will no doubt send troops to support bourgeois attempts at civil war. Again, officers in their military bases hold the key to French involvement.
- The Americans are unlikely to intervene directly but we would do well to infiltrate their politicians and reduce their political support for the French and Japanese.
- Throughout our own lands the bourgeoisie are conspiring as we speak to rally forces against us. In the name of the Soviets we must eliminate these capitalist conspirators.
Comrades, you know by now that you can trust the network of Bolshevic agents that have identified targets for you - they will follow the same information protocols for these missions. You merely have to wait for their visit.
Needless to say that he who is most successful in competing these missions will gain a prominent position in the State Political Directorate.

You have performed well in decimating their political and military support from the capitalist imperialists.

Socialism is here and we continue to rejoice.
Once we can eliminate the last remaining major players in the bourgeois capitalist camps, The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics can finally be fully established.
Your work is almost done.
But we must be on our guard against the bourgeoisie, and in the name of the Soviets we must eliminate these last remaining capitalist conspirators.
Comrades, you know by now that you can trust the network of Bolshevic agents that have identified targets for you - they will follow the same information protocols for these missions. You merely have to wait for their visit.
