Modern India?

mostly just testing the waters for this idea. We have a victorian era map of India, but should one of the world's most populous states be limitedto just one map of their past?

What would be the major changes (gameplay perhaps) that would set it apart from the imperial era map? That may well make a difference to how it is received.
