Welcome to the second Hometowns world cup.
In order to join this tournament all you have to do is tell me in this thread which city (or town, or village, etc.) are you representing and which map you want to play in as your home map.
Freemiums allowed as long as they leave ONE slot open for this tournament.
Tournament Structure:
Phase One: Six 5-player groups. Five rounds of 5-player games. The maps are the home maps of the five players in each group. 10 points per win, last to lose = 3 pts, third to lose = 2 pts, second to lose = 1 pt, first to lose = 0 points. First three in each group advance to Phase Two. The 4th in each group advances to Phase One Playoff.
Phase One Playoff: One 6-player game. Freestyle. Random map. Winner and last to lose advance to Phase Two.
Phase Two: Five 4-player groups. Six 1vs1 rounds. Everybody in the group plays everybody in the group twice. Games in the players' home maps. 3 Points per win. 0 Per defeat. If a game ends after the 20th round, winner takes 2 points and loser takes 1. First in each group advances to Phase Three. Second in each group advances to Phase two playoff.
Phase Two Playoff: One 5-player game. Freestyle. Random map. Winner and the last two to lose advance to Phase three.
Phase Three: Two 4-player groups. Three 1vs1 rounds. Everybody plays eveybody in the group once. Games in random maps. 3 Points per win. 0 Per defeat. If a game ends after the 20th round, winner takes 2 points and loser takes 1. First two in each group advance to the Semi Final.
Semi Final: Two 1vs1 games. Best of three. Maps: Home, Away, Classic. Winners advance to the final.
Final: One 1vs1 game. Best of five. Maps: Home, Away, Home, Away, Classic. Winner takes it all.

Group Tiebreakers:
1. Points;
2. Number of points gained in games between the tied teams;
3. Playoff game.

Reserve Policy
- In 1st round of 1st phase, if a player doesn't accept the invitation, he will be replaced by a reserve.
- In other round if a player does not accept the invitation he will only lose the game in question.
