Good idea but the referee how it interacts with the rest of the map?
Who can control him?

Re: Soccer Affair [05/10/2013] V1 pg 1
well, its known that lots of corruption happens in football. Maybe chairmans can /bribe/attack referee so hec send a player off with a red card/bombardment
im missing some stuf here
how do we connect to parking lot, lights stands, shareholders, ?

Come on, let's be serious!
The idea is good and I'd like to insert the referee to bombard the players on the field.
I could connect to the Main Shareholders, as well as Coach and Tactics Panel.

I'm working with the legend.
There really is so much work to do.
I started this afternoon and I have included only the bonus.
I want to use icons instead of the names of the bonus in order to save space.
Soon as I can i insert the connections between the Budget Panels and external territories.

You have a lot of dead space on your map that you could use. For such a detailed map you should use it.
Why is the parking lot intruding into part of the stadium?
Why are the benches not where benches are suppose to be for a Soccer stadium?
The layout of everything could use a lot of work.

There is free space because I'm still working on the legend relative to the conditional border and all connections between Budget Panels and external territories.
generalhead wrote:Why is the parking lot intruding into part of the stadium?
Because is a kind of window representing the parking lot (if known also has the shade).
Is a theoretical representation of the real Parking lot.

I like the idea I just thought it would make more sense to have the layout a little more real.
Like by having the benches where the sponsors are and the parking lot laid outside of the stadium.
Having coaches by the bench next to the field and having managers in the manager box.
I Think having the shareholders and the budget is going a little to far. I think It should be more about the stadium and the actual game.
Referees added would be cool too.
I like the training box.
If it was up to me I would get rid of the budget box on the left and the share holders and have a training box on both sides. One for each team.
Just my opinions though, your map.

Thank you for your intervention.
I'll consider your ideas but for now I want to finish the legend.
If it remains free space then I will move the parking lot.
Re: Soccer Affair [05/10/2013] V1 pg 1
I modified the Bonus List.
Now everything is clear and legible, and takes up less space!

I completed the legend.
I moved the Parking lot outside the Stadium.
The referee for now remains outside. Coach is to bombard the players in the field of play.
Let me know if everything is clear.

Re: Soccer Affair [06/10/2013] V1 pg 1
So, both teams have a million strikers at the same end, so half of them are trying to score own goals?
!!!
Typical of someone who doesn't know the difference between a hand and a foot, or that a ball is sphere-shaped !!

What the hell are you saying?
What kind of speech is this?
Is a criticism? A joke?
Try to be more clear!

Re: Soccer Affair [06/10/2013] V1 pg 1
1. The sport is called 'Football' - you kick a ball with your foot.
2. There are 2 teams, 2 goals, 11 players each team.
3. Strikers try to score in the opposition's goal !!!!!
4. Both teams have a goalkeeper !!!
5. The game is not some kind of battle between two sets of strikers trying to score into the same empty net !!
Your map is based on 'Mericans' total misconceptions of the game, not the real game that most of the world play.
The fact that I have explained this in even more detail just proves my point even more.
If you fix the obvious lunacy on the pitch, then you may also wish to consider that capitalism may influence the game, but once the game has started, the 22 men on the pitch, the ref and the crowd are the primary factors, You cant buy a player and sub him on at half-time !!

I thought I was clear in writing the map.
My point of view is purely managerial as well as where the game is considered to be purely economic.
The map takes into account both aspects of the game giving a lot of importance to line-up as well as economic allowing several improvements of the stadium.
If you do not like this point of view, you are free to not follow my topic.

Woah...
Looks really cool.
But is there any way you could condense the legend, like by condensing similar features into one rule? It's like reading a novel working out how to play the map.

By changing the silliness on the pitch then you will attract football fans more - then you can have both managerial aspects and the real game.

You could have players starting outside the pitch - somehow seperated - they take certain economic regions then they have a conditional border opens to one team on the pitch.
On the pitch, tackles, passes and shots on goal are only possible (conditional borders) once all eleven players on one side have been acquired ?

Re: Soccer Affair [06/10/2013] V1 pg 1
actually i think the football pitch/players is well thought. The ideia is not to have a football game but to create the tactic. Thats my 1st reading of the map before i struggled to understand the rest.
One thing i agree, u need 2 Gk
I would definitly skip the parking lot and maybe the floodlights

I'm sorry that you face trouble will understand how it all works.
If you have any suggestions on how to improve the readability and / or understanding the rules then get in!
Armandolas wrote:One thing i agree, u need 2 Gk
Gk? Goalkeeper?
My vision of the map is that of a player who is in front of a football manager game.
Each player runs his own team, not 2 teams at the same time.
This is a map of management, not a football game!
Armandolas wrote:I would definitly skip the parking lot and maybe the floodlights
If many of you propose then I can eliminate the Parking lot in order to leave more room for the legend.
However, this unbalance the management of the Budget Panel which included 3 big groups of territories to access the 5000 box.

I think you're making fun of me!
Tackles, passes, shots and other 6 characteristics of the Training Panel are intended to improve / train the skills of the players.
Definitely do not want to limit the play of the normal game actions to obtaining certain bonuses.
I think that you have not absolutely understood the spirit of my map
The boxes Lv1 of Training Panel are accessible from the 500 boxes of Budget Panel.
You can take them all but you will not have any bonuses until you get the bonus Line-Up (Tactic + K1 + all the players on the tactic held)
