Someone has asked me to mod a game so that he can introduce his clan mates to mafia. Since I'm not in the clan, and cannot host in their forum, I was thinking of modding a game in the main forum but restricting it just to his clan members (plus mb one to three more experience players for guidance). Essentially, it would be a private game in the main forum. Is that permissible or do I need to talk to someone about that before I set it up?
Thanks in advance.

I'm not a mod on this forum, but I don't see a reason why not. However, just in case, I'd say ask either Strike Wolf or blakebowling.
But... It was so artistically done.

Re: Question about setting up a game
I have never seen this, but personally wouldnt have any complaints about it. Seems like something that could bring more people to the main forums to play, so I see it as a plus. Like comm, I think you would have to ask Strike or blake, as they would most likely be able to answer this.
Re: Question about setting up a game
Blake is probably busy with admin stuff so I would talk to Strike first.

Re: Question about setting up a game
I think it would be fine, it's not like this is a tourney where there's anything on the line. I'd be ok with it.

Re: Question about setting up a game
I spoke with Strike and got the go ahead.
For now, I'm going to leave it at just the new players. Depending how the game progresses, I may ask vets to either come in as advisers or as new players/replacements in the game.

I'm never too busy for you guys (okay, it took me weeks to even see this).
I'm fine with it, as long as you clearly note either in the title or the OP that it's a private game.
