Newbie Mafia Game

This is a game of Mafia designed specifically for new players who want to learn how to play or aren't that good and would like to improve.

3.Iliad
4.Talapus
5.gethine-x
6.Alexwales93-x
7.firth4eva

This game only has 4 possible setups.

2 mafia, 5 townies
2 mafia, 1 Doc, 4 townies
2 mafia, 1 Cop, 4 townies
2 mafia, 1 Doc, 1 Cop, 3 Townies.

Only if you act serious and act as a parent would to their child with the younger players. You would also be the only person of experience I would allow.

If I would be the only experence player, I probably shouldn't join because I think that another player could be a better teacher. And I'm trying to be more serious in mafia games now. :wink:

But I'll still be unserious sometimes.

pancake, since you are basing this off the way mafiascum runs their Newbie games, you might consider using their "3 experienced, 4 newbie" player balance as well. It seems to work.

I'm not volunteering, though.

Since we're all pretty new at this, anyone have a strategy to finding the mafia on day one? It seem like its always an arbitrary thing. people random vote, and then the votee votes back thereupon original voter, b/c really you have no idea. perhaps others have seen a good way to lynch on day 1? its usually the anoyying guy or sheep.

I would tell you my strategy, but if you ever play with me in a game you'll know right away what I'm doing.
