[Site] Premium Membership

Concise description:

• Ability to buy a premium membership and have it stored away for ability to use on self/gift at later date.

Specifics/Details:

• When buying membership, have an option for the membership to be stored (like an item but actually usable).
• Allow access to this item for people to either use on them selves or gift to another person at a later date.

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:

This will not directly benefit the entire community but for people like me who plan on giving a prize away and want to invest the money into it now instead of wait for weeks/months/years down the road and risk not having the money to give the prize away.

As far as programming it in goes, I'd think of setting up another option of paying for Premium with a "Item" or "Token" would work. With this Item or Token of Premium being gift-able. It could easily sit in the inventory/similar spot until used/gifted.

You can do it through the use of credits already.
You can buy 2500 credits, and then later use the 2500 credits to buy premium.

I am just not sure if you can make a premium gift using credits but it should be.

If you talk to an administrator, they should be able to make that happen.

I think a better option would be to receive a code, somewhat like the xbox live redeem system.

You can then redeem the code upon your choosing. However It can only be unique to your username.

It has been done before. Double check with [player]blakebowling[/player] or [player]king achilles[/player] before purchasing though, just to make sure. It can't hurt getting a real opinion from the person who will be in charge of it.
