[OFFICIAL] Stack the Deck mafia (4/12)Endgame: MAFIA WIN
This will be the Official Game for November.
A 3.500 CC credit prize will be awarded to the mvp of the game, this will be a majority vote. MVP will be chosen from the winning team.
Please read the setup carefully, it's a little tricky but quite ordinary at the same time. If you have any questions post them in the thread or PM me.
The Setup:
-2 Mafia Goon (will not know who traitor is, unless they recruit him)
-1 Mafia Traitor (will know both other mafia goons)
-9 Town
The specs:
When signups finish, there will be a 72-hour interval in which mafia get to discuss in their QT. Here they will have to decide what powers they want for their team, and who will carry what power. A maximum of 3 power roles may be chosen:
-Bulletproof
-Role Cop
-JOAT (1 shot Strongman, 1 shot Ninja)
-Daytalk (passive ability)
-Recruit Traitor as Mafia Goon (this is an insta-use power and will recruit the Traitor as a mafia goon into mafia ranks prior to game start).
Town will start with 2 power roles, a cop and a bodyguard. For each power that mafia has chosen, an additional power will be given to Town. This will be randomly chosen from this list:
-Roleblocker
-Tracker
-Vigilante
-Innocent Child (reveal at start of day one)
Some additional notes:
-At the beginning of the game all town aligned players receive a "Vanilla Town" role. Once mafia has selected their abilities all town roles go out. This prevents claims of "received roles before/after mafia modifications".
-No player may receive more than one role/modification
-The mafia traitor becomes a goon when recruited. This means mafia is allowed to give him a power. However, the mafia traitor is a 1-shot bulletproof if not recruited. In this case, if he is the last remaining mafia, he will take over the factional kill.
In short, the 72 hours prior to game start are a bit out of the ordinary, the rest of the game will have a very normal flow.

I want a RPG mafia, where every post gives you XPerience and after X posts you can level up and get new abilities and powers

Innocent child-Town player who is confirmed as town at gamestart(typically cannot vote)
Vigilante-Can kill one player each night
Tracker-Can follow one player and see who(if anyone)that player visits
Roleblocker-Blocks a players night actions
Bulletproof-Cannot be killed by normal killing actions
Role cop-Can investigate one player to determine what NAs they can use
Daytalk-Extra thread where scum can plan without town seeing their interactions
Strongman-Cannot be blocked from committing nightkill
Ninja-Cannot be tracked/watched while commiting nightkill

im in just hope i dont end up innoceant child seems like a bad role to get as its insta revelaed thus seems like a automatic night kill

Like any role, depends what you do with it. Having someone confirmed town is good for the town, narrows down suspect list for lynch, town PRs don't need to use a night investigating that player, and if mafia tries to kill it, that's one free night for the cop and potential tracker.

Not necessarily, it also confirms the player as being zero threat to mafia. It depends how good they are at reading scum and pursuading others as to how much of a threat they are.

And with that, this game is FULL! I will be taking reserves until the 1st of November, at which time ALLIGNMENT pm's go out. After this, mafia will have 72 hours to discuss in their QT which, if any, powers they want.
After the 72 hours, ROLE pm's go out and the game will begin once at least half of the players have confirmed.
