Tug-of-War!! [ABANDONNED]

Tug-of-War!! - Tug of war (also known as war of tug, tug o' war, tug war, rope war, rope pulling, tug rope or tugging war) is a sport that directly puts two teams against each other in a test of strength: teams pull on opposite ends of a rope, with the goal being to bring the rope a certain distance in one direction against the force of the opposing team's pull.
Tug of War is as much about your own personal strength as it is about your teams overall strength. That's why in this tourny, you will work alone, but your wins and losses will affect your entire team! Here's how this tournament is gonna work:
[spoiler=Tournament Layout-STAGE 1]When each player signs up, they will give a home map, with the following setting combinations:
- Automatic
- Sequential
- Any Cards
- Any forts
- Foggy or Sunny
- Trench is ALLOWED
- Games must have a 20 Round limit
After signups, teams will be randomly distributed into 2 teams of 9 players each.
Round 1 will be set up as follows:
Each player will be randomly grouped against someone from the other team, with three 1v1 games:
- (1) Game on Player 1's maps/settings
- (1) Game on Player 2's maps/settings
- (1) Game on Random map, Esc, Chained, Foggy, No Trench.
After all games in Round 1 are completed, I will see which team has more 'group wins' (winning 2 or more of your 3 game series). Whichever team has more wins, will pull their opponents one step closer to the middle (See Tug of War map below). HOWEVER, I will also tally the total number of games won overall for each team that round. If the losing team happened to win more games overall than the winning team, they will pull them back half a step.
Each round will continue exactly like that, until one team pulls the other team 3 steps in, and they will fall in the mud.[/spoiler]
[spoiler=Tournament Layout-STAGE 2]Of the 9 players on the winning teams, the player who won the least amount of games overall, will be eliminated. In the case of a tie, a matchup of 3 games, like the previous rounds will be the tiebreaker.
The remaining 8 players will play each other player, once on their map and once on their opponents, for a total of 7 'home' games and 7 'away' games, to be played all at the same time. Whichever player wins the most games overall, will be declared victorious! In the case of a tie, the players tied for first will play each other again, once on their map and once on their opponents. Etc.. until a victor is declared![/spoiler]
