Dear Tournament peoples, TD Group is bringing this next Auto-Tournament event to you and this one to be all about "Arms Race".

Thanks to [player]xroads[/player] who brought the original idea to me!

In order to qualify for the "Final 10" Master tournament you will need to win one of the Satellite that is going out this weekend and until we have 10 different winners. The link to be post in the 2nd post below, this is where the Final tournament link will show up as well.

Winner, runner'up & 3rd player of the Master Tournament will receive prizes!
1st: 1000 credits
2nd: 500 credits
3rd: 200 credits

On top of this all tournament winners (Satellite & Master) will receive a Tournament Achievement medal.

Satellite Arms Race Tournament Format:
Entrants:

• 64 players (1v1 & Poly)
• 60 players (Terminator, Standard & Assassin)
• 2 Satellite per game play to be create unless duplicate winner

Rounds:

• 4 (half of the players eliminated each round)
• 3 games per round/per player

Points:

• Round 1 win worth "1 point"
• Round 2 win worth "2 points"
• Round 3 win worth "3 points"
• Round 4 win worth "4 points"

Settings:

• Sequential - Automatic - Escalating - Chained - Foggy - NO Trench - 20 Rounds

Ties rules:
Ties in score shall be broken by the following rules, applied in order:

• Percentage of wins in the tournament as a whole
• The cumulative number of Game rounds required to win the games player have won in the tournament (since the last point reset, or the start of the tournament if no point reset has occurred)
  
  • Note: winning in less rounds is better
• The order in which the player joined the tournament (first player to join wins)

Winner prize:

• Tournament Achievement medal & ticket for Arms Race Master Tournament

Arms Race Master Tournament Format:
Entrants:

• 10 players (winners from Satellite)

Rounds:

• 5 (No elimination throughout the tournament)
• 3 games per round/per player

• R1: 1v1
• R2: 5P Terminator
• R3: 5P Standard
• R4: 5P Assassin
• R5: Poly 2,3,4 (randomly selected)

Points: (all point gathered during the Satellite Tournament doesn't accumulate to the Master Tournament)

• Round 1 win worth "1 point"
• Round 2 win worth "2 points"
• Round 3 win worth "3 points"
• Round 4 win worth "4 points"
• Round 5 win worth "5 points"

Satellite 1v1, Terminator & Standard are now ongoing

Poly has 1 slot remain to fill

All Satellites are ongoing...

1v1: Round 2 is underway with 13 games remain.
Terminator: Round 2 is underway and about 60% completed.
Standard: Round 1 is underway with 5 games remaining.
Assassin: Round 1 is underway with 3 games remaining.
Poly: Round 1 is underway with 8 games remaining.

I will launch the 2nd batch of Satellite this weekend.

Thanks to djelebert for finding this little mistake in the "Assassin Satelitte", Round 2, 3 & 4 weren't not showing "Assassin" but "Standard", I was able to correct Round 3 & 4, added a fifth round with the correct game type.

The only issue I wasn't able to correct at this time is the point system for this round 2, was trying to put "0" therefore the round would not have any effect to the tournament but I can't, I contacted admin to see what would be a good resolution.

Yes, noticed this as well. I trust you and Admin will come up with a good solution.

For this little issue with the Assassin Satellite, Round 2 is showing with no point (If system is giving point at the end of this round then I will made correction on a piece of paper at the end of the tournament).
All can see the Round 5 which technically replace round 2.

All players in Round 2 will move to Round 3, no elimination from Round 2.

I will launch the 2nd batch of Satellite this weekend.

Lowered amount of entrants in all the 2nd batch of satellite, hopefully some should start this weekend!

The 1st batch is going well and few are going toward the last round...


Remember the round 2 of the Assassin Satellite (1st batch) will not have the point counted, even do the automatic system give 1 automatic point per victory, point will be removed at the end of the tournament to ensure we have a real "Assassin winner".
