Account Security Bulletin

Greetings,
This is a reminder to everyone that you need to keep your Conquer Club account secure. YOU are personally responsible for the security of
your own account. If other players have your password, such as an account sitter, you are still responsible for what happens to your account when they log in.
This is especially important when it comes to perma banned players.

Recently, [player]PaulatPeace[/player] has accessed nearly a half dozen accounts that he has password access too. Some of these were inactive accounts, some of them were not.

If you think there is a chance that PaulatPeace has your current password, or has had it in the past you need to take action and change your password.
Otherwise, you may unknowingly have your account accessed by this perma banned member and will have to deal with the actions taken against your account.

This is a good reminder to everyone to ensure the security of your own accounts. Save a life, change your password.

I really thought this was interesting stuff, but the sky is blue, the water is wet and the leading community group have finally found the arch-villain of Conquer Club. All you kids be aware, he has a name, but it's better left unspoken!!!

Llama he used an old clan mates account that had become inactive without their permission.

He used my account and jdw35 account without our knowledge. We were warned by KA to change our passwrods or we would be held responsible. So yes that was 2 of his clan mates that had no idea. Needless to say I think TOP will be much better off without his drama.

I agree. They're quality players and a quality clan. Without Paul they can actually get the respect that he denied them from having.

I'll go into detail if I have to, I just think it's crazy that you're banning active players, some of whom have been here almost a decade, because some malicious cunt posted from their account. Yeah like, the rule is that people may not make more than one account and you apply it to people who only have one account that just happens to have been hacked. Guess the mods don't even understand their own rules / the English language.

Preventatively guesting people whose accounts have been hijacked is actually the norm.

My guess is these people can get their account restored once they file an e-ticket, verify their identity from their email, and change their password. That has been the norm in account hijacking cases since always.
