Introducing, the....

2018 Eggcellent Design Contest!


You will be designing 1-4 easter eggs that you think would be the best for our inventory items during the MEGAEGG event. They can be anything you want at all. These designs will be judged by me along with other Team CC members. This is your opportunity to go down in the archives of Conquer Club as an artiste extraordinaire!

Again, eggs will be awarded for all entries and even more for winning entries! Winners will also receive a General Achievement medal.

Prizes:
1st Place winner- 15 eggs and General Achievement Medal
2nd Place winner- 10 eggs and General Achievement Medal
3rd Place winner- 5 eggs and General Achievement Medal
4th Place winner- 2 eggs and General Achievement Medal
5th Place winner- General Achievement Medal
All entries will receive 1 egg each, max of 5 entries

Rules:
Entries MUST be 70x70 pixels to be entered into this contest. All inventory item images must be this size.
No GIFs allowed and images must have a transparent background.

Remember, the submission deadline is this year's Vernal Equinox! CCT Tuesday March 20th 12:15:00. The Easter Eggstravaganza starts on the 29th and we need time to do the judging!

2013 was a bad year for eggs.

If I recall correctly, 2013 there was an egg outline given and said to color it, so there was not much space for new ideas.

The outline is the best part on most of those designs.

Yeah, I think so. But if that happens, to avoid ambiguity, please re-send a full set of 4.

Roger, if I decide to change something, whole new set will be sent. I have a feeling that one of these lacks originality so that one will probably be changed. The manually drawn submissions are always better than resizing a stock photo to fit required dimensions.

BTW, just saying this now. Don't bother Skyping me for votes. When people do that, I just look and pick the one that I honestly think is best and 80% of the time, it isn't theirs.

Only 2 players submitted eggs this year. Luckily, the quality made up for the lack of quantity. Some beautiful eggs once again!

1. The overall winner (by a HUGE margin) was the "Dice Fail Egg" submitted by [player]EBConquer[/player]. (On the Easter Scoreboard you will see the "Dice Fail Egg" called the "Mad Dice Egg" -- some have been renamed during the final process.)
   
2. Second place goes to [player]Dakky21[/player] and his awesome Atom Egg. If you look closely, you see that the electrons are little eggs, and the nucleus is a larger egg! Totally working with a theme!
   
3. 3rd place is another EBC creation. Originally he called it "CC is...." but most people call it the Prisoner Egg and the name stuck.
   
4. 4th place is Dakky21's "Zorro Egg"
   
5. 5th place is another Dakky creation, the Zeppelin Egg.
   
6. 6th place goes to EBC. There is no prize for 6th place, but if there was a prize for punniest title, the "rEGGae" would have gotten it.
   
7. Last but never least, Dakky21 again and the Watermelon Egg.
   

I gotta run. Prizes will be distributed when I get home. Many thanks to the EBConquer and Dakky21 for their wizardry!

The thing is - I always forget that the "eggs" don't need to be in a shape of an egg. For example, a Boeing 747 with dimensions 70x70 can be an egg. The shape is not important and each Easter I forget that part.

I think it should be at least vaguely egg shaped.

LOL! I forgot all about this. I was totally intending on submitting stuff. Oh well, will keep my ideas for next year haha.
