Rules:
This is an Official game. Prizes will be awarded in accordance with the Official Rules Policy. Winner announced on August 20th after five months of play (based on most total right answers).
If you make the clues too obscure and nobody gets it, post additional clues. After three to five days, I'll call "no winner" and we'll reset.
In addition to the above, if the game takes off (has more than 20 unique participants each month) I will add subsidiary prizes (based on most right answers withing a calendar month).
Don't hog the game -- after making a guess, wait either 12 hours or until the next clue to guess again.

actually, that was Buy, Buy Miss American Pie (woman in 1st pick is name American Pie, and she is leaving) Drove my Chevy to the levy (Miss American Pie is sitting in her Chevy) but the levy was dry. In Firefox I use a two-step procedure to post pics.
First, just to be clear, it is possible to do it in one step, but leads to more errors. The one-step method is to right click on an image, select "Copy Image Location", and then come to your post and CTRL-V the image inside an Img and /Img bracket. The only trouble is that a lot of images you find have problems. Either they're encrypted or they're dynamically generated or they're in some weird proprietary format, all of which prevents them from posting properly.
To avoid those problems, I insert a preliminary step before the final step. First I right-click on the image and select "View Image". This isolates the image in its own tab. You can now look at the address bar for that tab, and the file name of the image should be clearly visible. The file name should end in .jpg or .png or .svg or .gif. If it doesn't end in one of those, it almost certainly will not display properly when you repost it. Don't even try, just go find something better. The SECOND step, assuming you have a good file, is to CTRL-C the file name from the address bar and CTRL-V it into your post (again, inside Img tags.) The forum editor has an Img button which creates the tags for you -- you just have to position your cursor inside the tags.
