With about half of the 45 games underway I think I'll leave compiling a league table until most of the games have been completed.

Out of the 10 places the top place is the overall league winner for the month and gets showered with glory. \:D/ However, the bottom 2 get relegated into division 1. To separate players on the same points I'll firstly look at the head-to-head results. Then secondly I'll just go with CC points.

i don't think CC points is a fair way. you could use something like 'number of rounds difference' like goal difference...

like, take the average rounds each player gets for a wins, minus the average rounds for each loss...hows that sound?

so if u win quiker, u get an advantage

Actually that sounds a good idea.=D> Bit more work for me but fairer.

I'll still go for head to heads as first choice but if there are more than 2 on the same points then I'll try that idea.

Any chance of an updated table before you go on your jollies?

I'm off to get brownie points and visit my mum for a few days - nothing too rock'n'roll!

Will see what I can do. Snowman is the last player to enter games and he is due back tomorrow so we might even be able to get a final table together in the next few days.

How about a head-to-head playoff?

No need, I'll gather them up when all the games have finished and compile the final league table. Of course if you want to gloat about a famous victory feel free!

Playoffs would probably be ideal but I had initially ruled them out becuase of time constraints. Why don't we leave it up to each division organiser this month to decide how they want to determine positions. Then we can put our heads together at the end of the month and see what worked best?

hello bigbully,

please don't include me in the next months competition. 1 on 1 matches are not my bag, not only am i crap but i prefer the intrigue of multi player matches.

thanks for your effort.

Thanks for letting us know in advance.

What we'll have then is just one relegation spot.

Congratulations to Aradhus who has won the first ever BSCL Premier Division (July 2007)!

The single relegation spot has still to be decided.

I don't know if I'm expected to say a few words, or if that is considered tacky. This is my first CC tournament victory(hopefully the first of many).

I'd just like to thank Dave for the time and effort he has put in to making this and other enjoyable tournaments.

And to the other players, thanks for making the games enjoyable and challenging.. Except you Clive, for inflicting me with my only defeat.. I'll meet you on the battlefield again, where I'll have my revenge!

Can't wait for next season when there will be some new players promoted to the premier, I'll see if the players I meet again from this season have picked up any new tricks, and I'll defend my title with my life!!

or I'll probably get relegated

I'll do my best to take it from you...!

TipTop and Limey Lyons can now be confirmed as relegated, too. Bad luck guys.

What do the records mean beside each players name? I'm going with a simple W-L record in my division.

Initially I went for played-won-lost-points but then relalised W-L was all that was really needed!

Only 2 games still being played. Both will decide who takes the one and only relegation spot which is now between DAZMCFC (SCO) & TipTop (ENG).

My game with TipTop is now finished so that's just one left now I guess.
