The State of Clans
I got thinking, after hearing this week about the demise of another long term clan. What is the current state of the clan world we all love ? We can all go to the Clan Tab and take a look at a clan and think, wow they've got 34 players they must be doing just fine. The reality is that they only have 14 of 15 active players and no active leader.
Take HH, we currently have 21 players on the books. In reality we have 13 premium and 4 freemium members who I can call on. We are in the process of recruiting (something that is also becoming harder)
So I thought I'd take the pulse of the clan world by way of a traffic light system
Green = Strong = 20+ Active Members and strong leadership
Amber = Stable = 15 to 19 Active Members and strong leadership
Yellow = Vulnerable = Under 15 Active Members and strong leadership
Red = Critical = Less than 15 Active members and/or weak inactive leadership *
* Clans with 15 or over active members but who have weak/inactive leaders should rate themselves as red.
I'll kick off by rating HH as Amber

TANK SQUAD = RED + CRITICAL
Once the current Clan War is complete
TANK SQUAD will NO LONGER EXIST AS A COMPETITIVE CLAN

Re: The State of Clans
You can ask JBlombier to verify this for me, but VDLL is critical (red). Players are hard to come by and leadership wanted to quit being leadership due to RL a long time ago, but no replacement was found. So VDLL's existence and activity is completely tied to JB's involvement and JB is oftentimes busy because his RL situation is just busy by default.

According to your criteria we are
But I would not consider us to be vulnerable. We have always preferred to stay small and when someone leaves we have been able to replace them.

I know the clan in question don't want it made public yet, but I guess with people like you around that doesn't stand much chance.

Re: The State of Clans
Just added 2 members so now we are
Amber = At Risk = 15 to 19 Active Members and strong leadership

maybe next time just pm the clan leaders instead of making a thread for all to see, eh? took me like 10 minutes to find out . food for thought, you old fishwife...

wut? you are foed?
didn't follow much recent events... so for some reason aeternus died, you started a new clan instead of reviving aeternus and now you are a foed member?
i thing LHDD is green, didn't count the active members but it should be around 25-18

Why always there is a llama’s trolling post? Perhaps you could come up with your Clan data [RGV]? The point of this topic wasn’t really about the mysterious Clan Keefie was talking about but more about the health of the active Clan...

FOED is definitely Green
Like some have said, you dont need 20+ to consider yourself Healthy. I think calling Amber = "At Risk" Is inaccurate. I would call Amber = "Steady"
Then Yellow = At RIsk/Vulnerable, kinda the same thing.
Honestly, I think it would be more accurate to have separate ratings for active players and leadership for each clan.

I agree with this. To add we are not having a hard time finding people. We really do want to stay small. If we wanted i believe we could get ourselves to green within 2 weeks without hurting ourselves much.

Are you actually having a hard time recruiting? ATL has also been recruiting and has had no problems. I might be able to offer some advice if you guys are having a hard time finding people.

Sure, There is not a lot of top talent but there are tons of guys who would fit very well into a clan ranked 10-15. All you'd have to do is know where to look for them and how to approach them.

Thanks for the kind offer, but I think we might just manage

But my advice is perfect. Go through this list of players and you'll find some great ones. Every player i have recruited is on this list.

Seems like you’re catching up.
