Just to clarify for the OP:

Yes sitters are allowed send a message in the game chat to let everyone know who's playing on the account. Most people appreciate knowing who they're playing against. I also saw nothing wrong with him defending his friend against something you started. Sitters are not allowed on the forums, or in global chat. THAT would be abusing the account.

I agree with Mad here. This is spurious and a total waste of C&A time. Had you messaged Darin directly before making mean comments, he would have filled you in on the sitting rules and all of it would have been avoided.

His friend wasn't a 1striper when the comment was made and the only reason he's a 1striper now is probably because he's had to have idiots like gangus take his turns for him for several turns in a row due to his extended absence. I actually get on quite well with Silly.

The rules on what can be done while sitting someone else's account are crystal clear. You don't get to chime in with your own opinions. You're there to take turns. Anyone can chat into a public game from their own account so there's no cause for gangus to abuse his friend's account.

And the hilarity of you guys crying 'mean comment' because I belittled the abilities of a 1striper who clearly has no abilities which is why he's a 1striper. The things I've seen each of you say would put that comment at .0001 on the meanness scale compared to things you've said and also things you've condoned other people saying, including you condoning gangus calling someone a moron which is actually inflammatory insulting language as opposed to what I said regarding the 1striper. And this right here, marked in bold, is exactly why I think you have a worse attitude than the person you are reporting. You're free to feel however you feel, but you shouldn't expect no rebuke at all when you call players out for having a lower rank than you. If I was sitting for a friend who was ill or who had suffered a bereavement and someone behaved that way, I might be tempted to tell the person hurling abuse to get lost. It's only human.

You are now telling us that your attack wasn't directed at silly, that may be true, but you didn't actually make that clear when you were told off in the game chat. You directed it at "random 1 stripers." Every player of that rank in the game was going to take offense to what you said whether they voiced it or not. Surely you must have understood what effect your words would have on the other player/s in the game. I honestly don't think being called a moron is any worse than being called an ignoramus, which you have used in your opening post here.

i reccomend you to think twice before criticising such a wisdom
plus, judges and juries have the flexibility but staying loyal to the book of rules to set a final verdict.
there is no single book of rules to cover every single possible case in the human history.
