One year and two days after I launched my first tournament (Rally Dakar-Dakar), here is the sequel: Rally Paris-Dakar!
Same rules as last year apply. The difference consists on having two extra stages and three extra maps. Now to the addition of Dakar (map: Africa), Bamako (map: Africa II), and Niamey (map: Rail Africa), we will have three new stages: Paris (map: France), Madrid (map: Classic Cities: Madrid Iberia - Classic Cities: Madrid is not big enough), and Lisboa (map: Portugal)!
Tournament Structure

The tournament will be played on six maps: France, Iberia, Portugal, Rail Africa, Africa II, and Africa.
The tournament will have six rounds.
The first five rounds will consist of two 8-player games (1st round France, 2nd Iberia, 3rd Portugal, 4th Rail Africa, 5th Africa II).
Each player will receive points after each round:
- Winner = 10 points
- 2nd best = 6 pts
- 3rd = 5 pts
- 4th = 4 pts
- 5th = 3 pts
- 6th = 2 pts
- 7th = 1 pt
- First to lose = 0 pts
The Final Round will consist of one 8-player game in the map Africa, featuring the top 8 players so far in the competition.
Tiebreaker: An extra game on Africa II will be played after the 5th round between players that need to untie their score in order to qualify for the last game. No points will be awarded.
The winner of the Final Round will be awarded 70 points (the others will receive 6,5,4, etc. points like the other rounds) and be declared the Rally Paris-Dakar 2022 champion!

Players will be seeded into their respective games in the first round by their score at the time I confirm their presence in this tournament.
Game 1 from the first round will have the best ranked player, 3rd best, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th, etc. The odds. And game 2 will have the evens (2nd best, 4th, etc.).
Rounds 2, 3, 4, and 5 will place the 4 best players from the previous round and the 4 worst ones in Game 1 and the others in Game 2.

EDIT: So, because so many people joined this tournament, I decided to extend it to 20 players. This will have some implications. The games will have 10 players each, instead of 8. And the points attributed will be from 0 to 13, with the 10th place gaining 0, 9th - 1pt, 8th - 2pts, ... , 3rd place - 7pts, 2nd place - 8pts, 1st place - 13pts
