Conducting Secret Diplomacy

Game 21980769
Comments:
fleyderman and plapoint50 seem to be coordinating moves while nothing was said by them in game chat.
When it was brought to their attention, they admitted to being friends in real life and they did “maybe” have an agreement (fleyderman’s words) however, as new players, said they didn’t know there was a rule against coordinated play outside of game chat.
Since they admitted they didn’t know of the rule, they were simply asked to resign from this game and any other games in which they played similarly, as it’s an unfair advantage for them and unfair to the other players, whether they knew they were doing wrong or not. They refuse to resign. Would you please take a look at it and decide what, if anything, should be done ?
Please note : I don’t really have anything at stake here as I'm now out of the game.
Thank you,
- Addled Brain

Re: fleyderman & plapoint50
It's not possible to resign from a game. So what you're asking won't happen.
Seems it's a one time thing.
All the other games they played together were also played with the exact same group of players, so it's a group of friends that usually play together.
First time they broke the rule is this game mentioned in the OP.

Yeah, I had a look as well, and it seems that way. They were caught on their very first rodeo.Donelladan wrote:It's not possible to resign from a game. So what you're asking won't happen.

Let's hope that with a nudge from multihunters that they'll not continue this pattern.

Reading the game chat, it appears Shannon Apple has made them aware regarding favoring each other in non-team games. Thank you Shannon. I will be noting this in their records in case they ever get reported again for the same thing. I apologize for the delay in closing this one.
