So ranching is now open again.

You just have to follow a few simple rules.

1. All games you make should count towards a medal you need. That way you can use the excuse "I am medal hunting"

2. Invite players with at least 500 games played. That way you cant be accused of farming the newbs. It doesn't matter if you use a complex map, or a map they have never
played before. If they have played 500 games, they should know how to play any map.

3. If accused of cheating, site rule #1 and rule#2 and the precedence just established.

I think it is time to make a run at my personal high score again.

Ranching is a more specific type of farming gameplay. Both methods are trying to get easy points from (fairly) noobish players. Farming includes the MO for setting up a map hat only a few specialists can wrap their head around making sure the farmer will win 95%+ while ranching is done by invites.

Inviting very low rank opponents to a game, targetting (inviting) noobish players only and making sure that the opponent probably doesn't know the map or setting , while that map or setting does require some specific knowledge in order to win...
So basically the definition of ranching is inviting "too inexperienced" players (regardless of method) repeatedly to games that are difficult by targeting them out (through rematch or invite direct).

Im very amused aswell with people that go on a witch hunt for ranching/farming as mostly the cases are very flimsy. And i believe the mods stated in 2022 all ranching/farming cases will be ruled as "Get a Life"
