SAN FRANCISCO BAY CLASSIC [CHAMPION: Ucross]

Post by Optimus Prime »

San Francisco Bay Classic

This tournament will be a smaller, more intimate, straightforward tournament on the San Francisco map. It will feature 24 players that are randomly assigned into groups of 6.

The first round will feature 4 games with 6 players each using the settings: Standard, Sequential, Flat Rate, Unlimited. The top three finishers from each of the first round games will then be once again randomly assigned into new six player games using the same format. Once again, the top three finishers will earn a spot in the final game with the winner being crowned:
San Francisco Bay Classic Champion.

It's simple, it's fun, and you are not required to have a premium membership to play!! However, I do reserve the right to replace any players who do not join the game in a timely manner with one of the reserves listed. If you are not a premium member, please make sure you will have an open slot very soon as I anticipate this tournament filling quickly.

RED = eliminated

2. Serbia

4. Optimus Prime
5.

Optimus, are you going to play?

Edit: I just sent out invites to people I like playing with/against that I could think of off the top of my head, lol.

I'm going to wait and see. I have been playing in all of my previous tournaments, but at the moment I'm trying to cut down my game load a bit. If we get down to only a handful of slots left, I'll more than likely join in the fun.

It's just the first random map I chose actually. I am already in the works for Great Lakes Classic and European Classic. I'm hoping to create a series known as the "Map Classic Series" in the end. I'll probably launch one of the others in a couple of weeks or so. Each time the format will get tweaked until I find the one that really works well for what I'm trying to do.

Glad to have all of you on board.
