This will be based off of The Thing from John Carpenter's 1982 film.



Everyone will know who John MacReady is. Mac will have the powers of both of a vigilante, and a cop. The Thing will start out with one converted person of his choice and a night conversion.

This is meant to be a short cult game. No mafia, no night kills other than the vigilante.

It's been years since I hosted a game, but I thought this would be pretty fun for everyone.

Note: I did eliminate one character from the roster, for fake claim purposes.

To break down cult in the most simple way, is that their night action, instead of killing, they convert/recruit players. So one night you might be town, but if you're targeted for their night action, the following day you're going to be part of the cult instead.

Win condition for cult is pretty simple, convert/ recruit to where town cannot win by vote or kill.

Not gonna go this way, got some bad reactions about my playing style and that will be the same in 75% (dirty harry style, ofcourse it will only improve the more i would play , the .44 would be more spot on on every shot i'd take )

So dont need the bad mojo - but its been fun

Been thinking about how I could make this a bit more dynamic. If I get 12, and whenever The Tick ends, I think I can make a pretty unique experience without making it too wacky/op for one side.

So I'm eliminating Mac as a town hero and immunity since it just feels OP, however, I'll keep the random choice for the Thing and introduce a new mechanic for town to combat cult/keep with the theme
