No, I mean 1934, when fascist pricks were in the ascendancy in a dozen different countries. One very famous one, of course, but many others at the same time. Including very notably Hungary, Austria, Brazil, Italy obviously, Cuba, Turkey..

The more I look at your list the more parallels I see.

The one major exception is the U.S., of course, but although Roosevelt was a kinder, gentler man, we can see in him the same autocratic tendencies, in somewhat milder form, as in Trump.
