So our pet brit needs to stay away from those states. So his delicate sensibilities won't be trod upon.

Since his wife determines their life, I'm assuming she won't choose to work in those states.

My wife (ex) lives in Virginia. I live in California.
Going to visit soon, at the same time as my son and grandaughter.
The son is coming from the UK, but sensibly via Dublin, where the US cutoms people see you BEFORE you get on the plane, so that if there's any tomfoolery, he can just go home.

Does he look Mexican or something? If he makes his connection through Florida or Chicago he can still make it to a Hooters!!!

There are even less surviving Tilted Kilt locations. Though they are spread out a bit better.

KB's level of triggered is increasing at a really unsustainable rate. If he continues like this he's going to burst into flames before we reach 2026. Maybe a nice trip to Hooters would help soothe his nerves?

I have only eaten hot wings and beer at a Hooters, both have been decent... but I'd totally believe the rest of the menu is crap.

The WingHouse I stopped at (which is copycat chain) had horrible horrible food, but I didn't particularly care at the time.

There are better and cheaper places to watch a game and get some grub.

If I want to look at tits I’ll go to a Gentleman’s Club. I used to enjoy these venues, but now I’m too cheap and find it kinda meh. I gotta go to one next month for my nephews bachelor party. I’ll enjoy the steak dinner at a nice steakhouse before… I’ll enjoy the bar with a band… I’ll go to the titty bar because the group will go and I’ll throw some money at my nephew, but it will be the least enjoyable part of the night.

Hooters always seemed kinda a dumb idea to me.

I thought Hooters was a cool idea, but the ones I visisted had a disappointing caliber of girls. Nothing special.

Food wasn't bad, though. Nothing amazing, just pub grub, but decent pub grub. And it was the first place I ever had deep-fried pickles.

It seems that the Food is an afterthought at Hooters.

I will give a thought from a slightly different perspective. While driving to Disney World a while back, we went to a supposedly reknown BBQ place in South Carolina. (There were photos on the walls of many celebrities enjoying a meal there.) The meat, smoked and flavored, was very good, BUT the cole slaw was only so-so. In fact, as I think about it, the slaw tasted store bought, served from a large tub, and not very fresh. I like good BBQ, but I want good sides TOO, including the slaw, French Fries, and baked beans. The meat ALONE is not enough for a good meal.

Wings for lunch are nice, but is it worth bad food for a VIEW? Especially if the PRICES are HIGH? I prefer to buy my wings at a local place and I will skip the view and high prices. I especially like that I can choose what variations I get and how much of each flavor, at their wing bar. I then take them back to school to enjoy a good lunch (that is a bad health choice).

(I went out to a FISH FRY last night at a local church; the baked salmon was good, but the French Fries were way too salty. The rest of the meal was decent. [btw: I "complained" that there was so much food on my plate that I had to eat half of the food on my plate before I could open the foil to enjoy the fish/salmon. ] The salt stayed with me and I drank lots of water after the meal to get rid of the excessive salt taste in my mouth. Perhaps I should have complained about the excess salt on the fries, but I did not want to INSULT the cooks and servers at the Church. All the food (and enjoying seeing a few folks I know) was worth the $15 for the meal. My wife enjoyed her meal too, except for the excessively salty fries.)

I didn't know that was a chain. I visited one 'cos I thought the name was amusing, but I thought it was a one-off.

I smarter than me person might see an opportunity here... clearly hooters issue wasn't that they just had too many great sets of tits and consumers were overwhelmed. The issue is that younger people don't go out and eat as much, and have grown accustomed to settling for tits on their phones at home while eating doordashed food. Someone needs to do a doordash clone where scantily clad girls deliver your food (from any nearby restaurant) and do a short tiktok dance at your doorstep that gets sent to you as proof of delivery... just charge like 20-30% more than doordash but pay the girls less than doordash and expect to make up the difference in larger tips given.

So what do we do to up the ante a bit? Seems like the biggest issue based on your link would be talent retention, we need to find alt ways for them to side hustle this. Use hookers instead of strippers? If they start selling drugs on these deliveries we look the other way?
